Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival Holiday Show

Bring your friends and family to the Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival, Thanksgiving Weekend, to kick-off that holiday shopping and ease into the season! Every November, this renowned festival comes to life at Expo New Mexico to shake things up during the busiest shopping weekend of the year. Here, shoppers can find the most memorable and original gifts for everyone on their list, whether it’s a whimsical piece of pottery, a handmade leather belt, one-of-a-kind jewelry, a cool photograph or a striking piece of fine art. The Rio Grande Holiday Show marks a great opportunity for artists and festival goers to experience one of Albuquerque’s best-loved events while enjoying live holiday music, festive food sampling, and much more. It’s no surprise that this festival takes the turkey when it comes to New Mexico’s Thanksgiving Weekend traditions!

HOURS

Friday: 10AM–5PM
Saturday: 10AM-5PM
Sunday: 10AM–4PM

LOCATION

The Festival will be held indoors in the Lujan Exhibit Complex at Expo NM Fairgrounds in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From I-40, exit south on Louisiana Blvd. – turn west on Lomas Blvd. – turn south on San Pedro Blvd. Turn in at Gate 3 or 4 to enter the Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds.

PARKING

Parking at EXPO New Mexico is $5, or free if you are a Grande Pass holder. There is a complimentary shuttle van running from parking lots to the show daily from 10-4.

(Kids under 12 are FREE)

We have a very exciting announcement about our October show.  The tent will be located closer to the Balloon Fiesta than ever before – the 'Big White Tent' will be in front of the beautiful and upscale Sandia Resort and Casino.  The resort is situated on prime real estate at the intersection of I-25 & Tramway, just diagonal from the Balloon Field.

Sue will be exhibiting this weekend as well!

43rd Annual Girls Inc. Arts & Crafts Show

Sue will be in Booth S13 at the The Girls Inc. Arts & Crafts Show; which features the work of over 150 national and local professional artists. This show is the third largest market on the Santa Fe Plaza each year!

Visitors will find a wide range of work: fiber art, jewelry, painting, pottery, sculpture, metal work, wood work, photography, specialty foods, and much more.

Proceeds from artists’ booth fees benefit Girls Inc. of Santa Fe, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Angel Fire Artsfest 2015

I’m delighted to announce I’ve been accepted into the Angel Fire ArtsFest. The 34th Annual Angel Fire ArtsFest kicks off at 10am on Saturday July 11, 2015.  ArtsFest is a juried Fine Art event that is known for the fabulous selection of diverse arts in a small and intimate indoor show.  The show is located in the “Garden Court” on the 2nd floor of the Angel Fire Resort Lodge.  The Resort is also offering a discounted lodging rate of just $89, when you use the code words “Angel Fire ArtsFest”.  It’s a great time of year to come to the cool, refreshing mountain air and attend the event.  Hours are 10 to 5 on Saturday and 10 to 3 on Sunday.  Admission is FREE (donations are accepted.) Donations received benefit the youth arts education programs offered by the Moreno Valley Arts Council.  I hope to see you there!

The St. George Art Festival began 36 years ago, showcasing the many artists who call St. George their home. Since then it has expanded to include over 110 artists juried from hundreds of entries from throughout the United States. Over 30,000 residents and visitors from around the West converge in the beautiful town of St. George on Easter weekend, one of the busiest travel weekends of the year.
